A world-renowned author and an A-list actor fall in love. Sounds like a RomCom movie plot but may just be their happily ever after. Cue the villain plot twist…
Andrea Parker has made a career out of romance, except the only romance in her life is the kind between the pages of a book; and now on the big screen when her best-selling novels are adapted to film.
David Bishop's face – and okay, yeah, much of his body – is known worldwide as the Hottest Bachelor in Hollywood. But just like most of the rest of the world, he is smitten with the brilliant and talented author Andi Parker. Little does he know the easy part will be convincing her to give him a chance.
Andi is a divorced, single mom with enough years between her and David Bishop to make her wonder what he sees. But David is nothing if not committed to showing her he’s more than just a handsome face.
She’s ready to believe there might be something better waiting for her, then enters the dastardly bastardly villain in the form of her ex-husband to screw up their potential Happily Ever After.
Genre: Contemporary romance
Tropes: Hollywood romance. Famous MCs. Readymade Family. Since parent.
Content Disclaimer: Andrea Parker, the heroine of this book, has an absolute jerk of an ex-husband who unfortunately still tries to be a part of her life. As mentioned, he’s a jerk. He regularly participates in the following: emotional and verbal abuse, gaslighting, cheating (when they were married), and makes both antisemitic and anti-LGBTQ comments in the course of the book. He attempts physical abuse but is stopped with extreme prejudice.
Like I said, he’s an ass. But I don’t want anyone unnecessarily upset by his words or actions.
There are also discussions of alcoholism recovery in the book.
All purchases of signed paperbacks or signed hardcovers include a free eBook version of the same title, delivered via BookFunnel once you’ve completed your order.
Reason for discounted price: This is an older cover with older formatting. While I have possibly cleared up some random typos and updated a line or two, there is no fundamental difference between this older edition and what is now available.
